For many state and local government social services agencies, an important goal is to integrate services by leveraging new technologies and approaches to delivery in order to improve operations and better meet the needs of clients and community partners. Based on interviews with 41 states and 9 municipalities, this Governing Institute report, commissioned by KPMG, documents the specific ways in which states and localities are improving service delivery through integration.
